What's wrong with my questions?

A photographer and I were suffering through a local production designed for entertainment recently -- very recently. No particulars because the screen has eyes if you catch my drift.

I posed this question, which got a mixed response from her, "How far do you think can I jam this pen in my ear before I lose consciousness?"
