If you're not getting answers, ask better questions

Maybe I should apply this. I haven't really written a full-fledged story this week.

Yesterday, I was setting things up for later this week. I wrote some briefs and stayed on top of the weather but produced nothing substantial.

The interview and story I had planned for today fell through because the guy got sick. So I walked around the route for Friday's parade looking for a story, but I found a brief instead.

It's only uphill for tomorrow. The story has to be three times as good as usual.
