Oh, oh. I want some more. Oh, oh. What are you waiting for?

The poppy, upbeat pleas I hear have been resonating with me lately. At any moment this week I will break out into verse while with a client. Whether from the radio or classic books (mostly audiobooks, given the time I spend driving), the lines I would regurgitate will burst out of my throat and splatter all over the walls and ears around me.

I want to communicate solely by iPod and torn pages. Just thrust my earphones (no earbuds, however) and favorite stanzas at everyone who looks at me with puzzled gaze and let them see the tracks playing behind my eyes. Half throat cancer patient and half Bumblebee. True that I strongly disliked the Transformers, but as a fan of the toys and cartoons I follow blindly into each undertaking of their undermining. Damn you, Michael Bay.

Oh, and Thanksgiving was fun. Played football. Walked with a limp for the next four days. My cousin got married. My mom's cousin passed away suddenly. My wife went to her mom's for these last few days.
