It's a guy thing. And it's a stupid thing. But sometimes you have to lay into a sturdy inanimate object. Wrathful fellas choose walls, which leads to costly hole repairs. Others (and some in that group) foolishly punch incorrectly, using the wrong part of their hand and breaking more than the object. The key to channeling these outbursts is to pause and make sure the target can bend without breaking allowing the proper balance of striking power and preservation of the structural integrity of both the puncher and punchee
Some might say that pause should be used to calm and center all thoughts of violence or anger. But that's not going to happen. The steering wheel had it coming, mostly because it's illegal to punch the person who actually deserves to get decked.
