Nice end to a crazy week

This week started really bad. Everytime I tried to get a couple of stories finished and out of my "to-do" box I hit a brick wall.

"Here are some minor facts, Mr. Dinsmore. I'll have to get back to you about the major, essential things you need."

Then, it got crazy. There was the homicide, then the hearing to reinstate police officer who had been fired in December. Then out of nowhere, I was working on three stories today.

Unfortunately -- but kind of not -- one of the stories fell through because the contact never returned my calls. I am not sure, however, how I would have fit it in.
