Actually it was a he, but technically he was a douche. So I'm not really sure he lands on this one.
I took an extended lunch break Saturday because I reported in early. I was not monitoring the police scanner that evening -- I'm the only one available to monitor it on Saturday nights -- when the police responded to some problems at the local mall.
The weekend cop that I contact at our local police department has never been friendly, but I trusted him to do his job. That is until Saturday.
I received a tip from our sheriff's office that the city police were dealing with a possible "riot" at the local mall.
I asked the cop point blank about this, and he told me it was a couple of juveniles causing a disturbance. I asked if it was anything major, and he said no.
The 10 o'clock news reported 23 arrests of people ages 8-25. If that's not a big deal in this little town, what is Lying McLiarpants?

If he's lying about what went down, then maybe we need to hear from the perpetrators/victims/witnesses. Perhaps he won't be so quick to cover up important goings-on in the future.
